Rick started in construction after working 4 years in the building supply industry. After quickly realizing the home owners, and builders were asking him for advice it was a natural motion into becoming a builder.
For the next 10 years he was a ski patrolman in the winter. Skiing avalanches and helping the injured - great fun. Worked building special projects in the summer - The best of both worlds.
Twice Rick has built affordable housing projects. Once as a lead Carpenter the second time as The General Contractor running the project.
The Lopez Community Land Trust Innisfree Project is 8 houses of exceptional design, Using mostly volunteer labor, residents & small staff.
8 houses for under $500/month including utilities.
Volunteers are simply the best people in the world
Currently Rick is seeking special projects from new homes to kitchen and bath remodel.
